Mark Zuckerberg took one sip of Guinness on a podcast, and his face said everything. The 42 year old Meta CEO was on John Collison’s Cheeky Pint podcast with chief AI officer Alexandr Wang to talk about Meta’s new Muse Wonder model. They kicked things off with a toast. It didn’t exactly go to plan.
Zuckerberg took a gulp, then seemed unable to swallow. He glanced sideways, swirled the stout around his mouth and finally forced it down before sliding his glass almost out of reach. The clip quickly spread on Reddit, where users had a field day. “Never seen someone try and chew a Guinness,” one wrote. Another joked that he looked like a kid trying his very first beer.
He might want to warm up to it, though. Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, just bought Strancally Castle in Ireland, so there could be plenty more pints in his future. Guinness fans say the secret is to sip past the bitter foam and into the dark stout underneath. Sounds like something worth practicing before his next trip.
