Our Chief Marketing Officer, Cristina Diezhandino, has been shortlisted for the prestigious WFA Global Marketer of the Year award and voting is now OPEN!

Taking on the role last summer, Cristina has led our 1,200-strong marketing team and agency partners through a time like no other. By instilling a ‘mindset of possibility’, teams adapted plans, created incredible content and tapped into trends to help consumers recreate the bar experience at home.

From Tanqueray 0.0% and Baileys Deliciously Light to draught cocktail machines and Guinness MICRODRAUGHT, Cristina has overseen the launch of new innovations bringing our brands to more consumers around the world.

And supporting the bartender community through an incredibly challenging period was also a priority. During Cristina’s time as CMO, we took the Diageo Bar Academy fully virtual, doubling users to 1.6 million, and celebrated the best in bartending by bringing 50 markets together for the World Class Global Finals, watched by over 10 million people.
